Winterland

A magical kingdom of ice and light, where a winter themed lantern festival featuring bespoke lantern installations and immersive light sculptures brought Madrid’s winter season to life.

With illuminated forests created through intricate light sculptures, enchanting performances, and majestic lantern installations depicting fairies, unicorns, and winged deer, Winterland transformed the park into a fully immersive Christmas fantasy.

Presented as the major new attraction of the 2023 holiday season, Winterland reimagined Parque de Atracciones de Madrid as a spectacular winter lantern festival, filled with custom-designed lantern installations, atmospheric lighting environments, and unforgettable family moments.

The experience combined themed entertainment such as the musical Noel, the luminous walk El Bosque de Luz—featuring large-scale light sculptures and lantern displays—and live encounters with magical characters, creating a richly theatrical and visually immersive seasonal destination.
